Photo Session

Before your session:

We'll first begin by setting a date and time on the calendar. At this point, we'll discuss your interests, styles and poses (if you care) and together we can choose the perfect location. Don't hesitate to let me know anything you'd like to incorporate into your session to make it fun or memorable, or any props or other items you'd like to stage your session setting.

During your session:

My goal is for you to just relax and have fun while I capture your images. I may prompt interactions between some of you o capture some great sincere expressions, so be sure to bring (and embrace) you inner silly side. I'll also help you feel comfortable and guide you with how to pose. If it's a cloudy day, we'll be blessed with anything as far as lighting goes, and if the sun is out, we'll work on playing with light and different ways to catch it in the lens to make beautiful glowing images. In general, I like to shoot outdoors in the late afternoon or evening because of the soft light from the setting sun, but can work around your schedule for the best possible time slot. I like to keep sessions fun, interactive, and as stress-free as possible, and remember that if you don't look good, I don't look good. My goal is to capture you at your best so you love your images!

After your session:

Within days of your session, I will upload at least one image for you to see on my Instagram a and Facebook business page. (Please specify ahead of time if you would rather not have your images posted on social media.) Within 2 weeks of your session, you'll receive a link to view your online proof gallery. The proofs will be lightly edited. Please allow at least 10 days for post-processing of your images. If you are in need of any images during this time, I'm always happy to email those over, so please don't hesitate to ask.
