As I look back on these photos from late this summer, I’m grateful for SO many things... 
my family and the love, closeness, friendship and joy we have together, the incredible time we had on the lake enjoying each other on vacation, the memories we made that week, God’s goodness to give us a beautiful evening to do this photoshoot, the stunning sunsets we witnessed that left me in a state of awe and speechlessness, the grace and mercy of the Lord in our lives, the physical rest and relaxation we all received from that time away, etc…

What a gift. Seasons come and seasons go. I’m reminded to cherish each moment and thank God for everything He gives us day in and day out. We’re so undeserving of His goodness. 🤍

Hello!  I’m Amber - a family and portrait photographer serving Northwest, GA + abroad.  Thanks for stopping by! 

Photography has always kind of been “my thing” ever since I was a kid.  Growing up, every time we would go away as a family, I would take my trusty Olympus film camera with me - ready to snap pictures of anything that caught my eye or of family members I had set up.  Thankfully, I’ve moved on to using a digital camera now, which makes life so much easier and I’ve had some training along the way. 😉😄 I always want to learn more and improve on my skill!

I love working with people and it is my joy to be your photographer!  I’m always striving to create natural-looking posed, as well as, candid photos in my portraiture because life is short, time flies, kids grow up.  Let me capture those memories so you’ll have them forever!

I’m so excited! I’ve been working through the Katelyn James Lighting and Location course and it’s been amazing so far! Just went for a walk this evening to practice scouting out some well-lit, pretty areas for portraits and got a little side-tracked when I spotted this butterfly and the sun peeking through the trees! 😄 It’s lush here in GA!

Thinking back on the occasion of this photoshoot… my grandparent’s 50th wedding anniversary. So blessed to have had the opportunity to capture them together, especially since my grandma passed away last month. 💔 They exemplified a faithful marriage to each other and I’m beyond grateful to have godly grandparents. God is so good. This photo will forever be my favorite!
